Terms of service

These terms explain how buying from Agyakoah Fabrics works. Please read them before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to them.

Who we are

Agyakoah Fabrics is a fabric retailer based in Accra, Ghana. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Agyakoah Fabrics, and "you" means the customer. These terms apply to orders placed on this website and, where relevant, to purchases in our shop.

Products and colours

We describe each fabric, including its width, composition and care notes, as accurately as we can. Colours can look different on different screens, and colours can vary slightly between dye lots. Handwoven and hand-finished cloth such as Kente may show small variations in weave and colour. These are part of the craft, not defects.

Prices

All prices are in Ghana cedis (GH₵). Delivery fees are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order you have already paid for. If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we will contact you before processing the order, and you may cancel it for a full refund.

Orders

When you place an order, we send an email confirming that we have received it. A contract between you and us is formed when your payment is confirmed. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if the fabric is no longer available, if we suspect fraud, or if there was a pricing error. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we refund you in full.

Payment

Online payments are processed securely by Paystack. You can pay by mobile money (MTN, Telecel and AirtelTigo) or by card. We never see or store your full card details or wallet PIN.

While you complete payment, we hold the fabric in your order for 2 hours. If payment is not completed in that time, the reservation is released.

Discount codes are subject to their stated conditions, such as a minimum order value, an expiry date and usage limits. They cannot be exchanged for cash.

Delivery and pickup

We deliver anywhere in Ghana and offer free pickup from our Accra shop. Delivery times and fees are set out in our Delivery policy. Responsibility for the order passes to you when it is delivered to your address or collected from our shop.

Returns and refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations and refunds are covered by our Returns and refunds policy. Nothing in these terms affects any rights you have under the laws of Ghana.

Wholesale accounts

Wholesale accounts are available to tailors, seamstresses, boutiques and other businesses, and approval is at our discretion. Wholesale prices and minimum quantities apply only to approved accounts. We may withdraw wholesale access if it is misused.

Your account

If you create an account, please keep your sign-in details secure and your information up to date. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

Reviews and feedback

Reviews must be honest, relevant and lawful. We read every review before it is published, and we may decline or remove reviews that break these rules. When you submit a review, you allow us to display it on our website.

Intellectual property

The text, photographs, logos and designs on this website belong to Agyakoah Fabrics or to the people who licensed them to us. Please do not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

We are responsible for providing the fabric you ordered as described. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for the result of garments made from our fabric. Please confirm yardage with your tailor before you order. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If a dispute arises, we will first try to resolve it with you directly. If we cannot, it may be brought before the courts of Ghana.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. The terms in force when you placed your order apply to that order.
